About the Role
We’re looking for an Automations & Deliverability Specialist to serve as the operational backbone of our lifecycle pods—ensuring flawless execution, system reliability, and reporting accuracy across multiple client accounts.
You’ll work directly alongside a lifecycle strategist in a fast-paced, sprint-based environment—building, QA’ing, and optimizing automations across email, SMS, and push channels. You’ll also take ownership of performance reporting, proactively diagnosing issues, and ensuring deliverability best practices are followed before problems arise.
This role is for someone who thrives on precision, consistency, and problem-solving—someone who takes pride in catching what others miss and ensuring every automation, segment, and report works exactly as intended
What you'll do:
Automation Execution & QA
Build, configure, and optimize automated flows and campaigns in Klaviyo, Postscript, and related platforms.
Execute sprint tickets across 5–7 client accounts in collaboration with your pod’s strategist.
QA all builds and configurations for logic, segmentation, triggers, and tracking accuracy.
Conduct regular account reviews to identify and address inconsistencies, errors, or missed opportunities.
Maintain detailed documentation of processes, templates, and tests to ensure repeatability and quality.
Reporting & Performance Visibility
Pull and compile performance reports that track key lifecycle KPIs and flow performance across accounts.
Use data to identify anomalies, diagnose issues, and surface insights to the strategist before they impact results.
Partner with strategists to ensure data integrity and alignment between automation platforms and analytics tools like Triple Whale, Northbeam, and Google Sheets.
Support experimentation tracking by documenting tests, recording learnings, and validating outcomes.
Deliverability & Platform Health
Monitor inbox placement, bounce rates, and sender reputation to ensure consistent deliverability.
Implement deliverability best practices across authentication, list hygiene, and suppression logic.
Identify and troubleshoot performance or configuration issues related to domains, IPs, or integrations.
Support the integration of tools connected to Klaviyo such as Blotout, Retention.com, Black Crow, and OpenSend.
Systems Thinking & Continuous Improvement
Develop systems and processes that help scale execution quality across multiple accounts.
Identify recurring issues or inefficiencies and propose tools or workflows to improve accuracy and speed.
Contribute to Winback’s shared knowledge base with documentation, process improvements, and playbooks.
Communicate clearly in Slack—flagging issues, clarifying requirements, and collaborating across teams with precision and ownership.
Who You Are
3+ years of experience building and managing automations in Klaviyo (Postscript, Attentive, or similar ESP/SMS platforms a plus).
Deep understanding of lifecycle automation, segmentation logic, and QA methodologies.
Experience tracking and troubleshooting deliverability issues across major inbox providers.
Comfortable using connected tools such as Blotout, Black Crow, Retention.com, and Triple Whale.
Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel, with the ability to organize and report performance data effectively.Meticulous operator who thrives on structure, consistency, and accountability.Strong communicator—able to flag, document, and resolve issues efficiently across distributed teams.
